How To: Request a Reddit v2 Badge - Open

If your username differs from Reddit, send @ikeo1 a message on reddit with your username so I can confirm you aren't making it up!

If you have an account click on your user and select Verification Badge request



Click "Create Request"

1. When you create the request Enter in your reddit username
2. In the body, add a link to your Reddit profile.

Be sure to select Reddit Badge v2.

All other badges will be rejected.

V1 badge is the OG full logo for the first 1000 users. V2 is a smaller version just to recognize Reddit users. If you have v1 no need for a v2. As we grow it just distinguishes the account age. It’s just for fun and flair as we grow the community. Doesn’t mean much now, but if/when we grow to 10k+ the badge start to designate who’s been around and when they came around all free as a thank you for helping us build this place and recognizing early users from Reddit.

We’ve grown a bit from different places but the Reddit community by far has been the most supportive.

only if the admins get whiffs of real world guntrading will they shut it down. r/gunaccessoriesforsale has been running strong for years. ive been on the site for 11 years and only been banned from a few specific subreddits, for participation in others. just dont be a and youll be ok, like most forums

When I go to https://www.reddit.com/user/doser/ it comes up with a 1 post karma user in cyrillic. Do you have a different username on Reddit?
