I’ve been there. Was a really nice range. If I recall, you had to show the desk your target at 100 yards to then get a purple (I think) card so that you could then use the 300 yard range. I was mostly using the 300 yard range to practice for deer season. I wish it were closer to me (ca. 90 min to 2 hr drive).

So disappointed to learn that you need to be a member of the NRA to join this range. 🤨 I wish they would accept CRPA.

Just clarified with staff that it's for the non voting membership also. 😕
It's because the NRA helps fund them, that used to be their primary function before they became a major lobbying organization

A couple of the clubs that I have shot with said the NRA underwrites some insurance for them and requires membership to qualify.

More normal than you think. To race motorcycles professionally in the USA you ironically need to have an AMA membership number since they sanction and insure all pro racing events e.g. road racing, Supercross, Motocross etc. which is like $50 a year. Same concept with the NRA funding it seems.

Not long ago I remember discussion that CRPA was being considered, did you ask?
