Today when you create a for Trade Classified Ad there is no field to enter an "Estimated Cash Value" or "Trade Value" of the item. Often people will add the "Make Offer" prefix and accept a cash offer in lieu of a trade or give/get cash as part of the trade. Today people are typing dollar amounts into the text box which makes it harder to search and to filter.

Out of the 30 active ads (not including the test) on WTT, I counted and I am 1 of 10 people that you're describing here (with a $ amount in the text), I would say we're just making do with the prefix choices we have, if we had those fields or options you are pitching, we would use it 100%.

Having said that, I don't see how typing the dollar amount is making it harder to search or filter. Are you talking about within the WTT category?

Not really "pitching", we want to provide the best and most useful features.

If you wanted to see all completed trades with a value of $1000 or less, you cannot do that today. If you do a search using the WTS (Wanted To Sell) category for example, you will see the list and it includes the asking/sold price in the results which some may find useful. Perhaps not as pertinent on a trade, today we require all for sale posts to include a price and it must remain post-sale for transparency and posterity. When you close a sale you must link to the original post for these reasons.
