Cleaning out my nightstand I found an "older" Tlr1 sitting by itself. When I picked it up I noticed the hinge pin looked ripped out of the battery door. Apparently this isn't that uncommon, but I was surprised to find it broke sitting unmounted in a climate controlled room. Hope my other Tlrs don't follow suit. Gonna email SL and ask for a replacement.

My TLR-1 HL did the same exact thing. They should warranty it. Also had the frame rail crack on a TLR-4 and still have it somewhere

Same thing happened to mine 2 weeks ago. SL said they'll mail me the replacement door but haven't received anything yet.

SL emailed back and said they would send a new one. 👍

How old are yours? My TLR-1's are a over 15 years old and my TLR-1 HL is at least 12 years old. No issues. Streamlight customer service seems pretty solid.
