New Feature! Sub Regions added to Search & Listings

Hello! Another update for a big request from a lot of you. I think this will save a lot of time scanning and organizing listings. But first, we have a PWA Progressive Mobile App for users. Installation instructions are in the bullet point.

On to Sub-Regions!​

If you have a listing open, it is available now, go in and edit it!

Note: Remember Title - Location still applies! It helps with scanning.

Users will now be able to search by Sub-Region. Depending how popular this function is, we may move it to Registered Members only.

Registered members ​

Will be able to Search using our Advanced custom fields.

Registered Sellers​

Can now select a sub-region:

Yes, you'll still be covered by keyword search. What region are you in? You should still be covered by norcal or socal too

It'll get better over time as people start transitioning over and we get more items in the system.

Thanks! We'll be offering more subtle tools like this for buyer/sellers

A few members here are opting for the Calguns Verfication. I think it'll work well here since you validate against two sites and you have one valid payment confirmation via cc with me. Instead of iTrader number, you use the account age as validation.

The various search categories for the Classifieds works great. Would it be possible to save certain search criteria and subscribe so that each time an item is posted that meets your search criteria you receive a notification? Example: Private Handgun Listings, Central Valley.

That's actually on our roadmap, but in a simpler form. We'll be doing keyword search with notification and price that you can save. It's difficult to do multiple dimensions because the possibilities multiply with each selection. This is planned as a benefit for monthly memberships because the compute cost is a bit more taxing on the system since it scans every new listing.

This takes a bit longer to develop. I'm currently in the planning phases discussing it with my developer on how we would approach it. We would be limiting the number of saved searches as well again cause we're not huge and it is taxing on the system. Our goal right now is to get more sellers. Auto-bumping is also on our roadmap for sellers in the future, but it'll take some time to get there since we need more interaction on the site.
