Anyone hear about the suicide shooting at Oak tree gun club today?

Ppl in comments are saying it happens once in a while?

Is it a thing to rent a gun to meet god?
 
Every place I've been to that rents guns requires you to have someone else with you or for you to have brought firearms of your own in order to rent.

Seriously 🐚 thing to do, now all the customers and staff get some free trauma to go along with their day.

It is sadly. Most of the gun ranges that rent only allow you to if you bring someone in the hopes you won't do it in front of someone you know or if you have your own gun. In all of that darkness at the risk of sounding like an 🐚 I'd hope that the people that think that way do it home so they don't traumatize other innocent people

It's sad all together and I'm pretty sure most ranges/stores have realllllllly extensive insurance for this reason alone
 
They won't rent a pistol to a single shooter,that is someone has to have a partner.

That's their way of keeping rental guns a feature of the range.

They need several RSO's on that pistol range. One RSO can't see shooter 's hands. Last time i was at the pistol range it was very busy, the road to APTS was closed due to rain damage.
To Betsy's credit there were 2 RSO's ,but they were both on their phones.

The news is,,,it was NOT a rental that was used.
 
People have serious mental health issues especially during these hard economic times for some. It will get worst. More layoffs coming in the next 2 years like never before. I won’t shoot at a range that rents firearms.

It’s not an everyday event but it does happen, I’ve known a few local indoor ranges that rent that have experienced that.
 
Been to several suicides at a local range. I have a membership at an indoor range. It's always in the back of my mind when I go shooting. I don't want to have to clean a mess off of me. Another thing to consider, sometimes suicidal people like to take someone else along with them on their journey.
 
Is this the same oak tree clown show that tried investing in some RFID pistol security and was working with the oem to out law regular pistols ? Ya couldn’t have happened at a better place ..
that being said you ain’t meeting god if you pull shenanigans like that … you going straight down . Losers
