Thoughts on this Costco range bag…

Costco appears sold out on black and tan. Oddly, the same bag on Amazon ($110) has no images of the insides. Nice way to have more returns...
 
Can’t the split rings be easily removed without damaging the range bag or unlocking the lock?
They sure can. Could apply some liquid metal after putting in place but...

As mentioned, a knife opens the bag easily. A d-ring could easily be pried apart. The tiny locks could be hit with a can of soup and be opened.

It's about following the law as written. Until they include pistol/range bags in the DOJ approved list, as are safes & gun cabinets, we're good to go.
