It's now a schedule III drug. This opens up commercial banking to pot industries and eases research grants.

This was an issue he said he would tackle if elected.

Will the pot question now be removed from the DROS forms?
 
I doubt it. It's still a controlled substance, and the DROS form specifies "unlawful user". It's still unlawful to use a controlled substance without a medical prescription.

Pot is legally sold in DC. That city is under direct federal control but sales are still allowed now under class 1. I doubt the regs will be enforced there or anywhere else. That horse already left the barn.

My response was regarding your question about whether it will be removed from the form, not about enforcement.
 
It would have to be completely descheduled at the federal level for it to come off the ATF 4473.

Sounds like a question for congress.
Question 21 'A' through 'H' were all part of GCA68 originally iirc. That doesn't mean it can't be modified, of course. But who in their right mind is going to take up the mantle of "give guns to potheads" after half a century of being enshrined in law?
