We the People - IWB Holster Mount

I purchased a We The People IWB Holster Mount. See below video

So yeah! NEW gun stuff! Fun.... and then I thought about it. If I mount this in my Tahoe my gun is not totally concealed in the case of a traffic stop. I have a CCW and want to calmly inform a traffic cop who I am and what I have. Also, I can not figure out where to mount a flat surface that makes sense and where I could draw in an emergency.

Is this thing dumb? Did I fall from marketing or I am missing the point?

I do not think these things are a great idea. If you have a gun, you should keep it on you. What he opens if you get in a collision or stop to help someone and get out of the car quickly, now your gun is there or you have to spend time putting your gun on.
