Yesterday I tried to log into CAguns only to be blocked - with a notice "you've been blocked." That took me by surprise as I've never experienced this problem. When I turned off my VPN, I was able to log in.

Are the new security protocols set up to block members with VPN's?

Yes. We've seen a rise in scammers/bad actors recently trying to trick users. Not surprising considering its the holidays. As you mentioned, the resolution is to turn off VPN. We have a list of VPN's used by scammers and eventually, they'll run out or have to use a VPN service that's reputable but traceable.

We do a lot of things behind the scenes and our focus is back on CAguns.net to make it high quality. I'm fairly certain most sites don't go to the lengths we do. Even then there's still some risk, but there's a tech layer in front to help...
