A note on why more of the site now requires an account: automated scrapers and AI systems have been crawling our forums and classifieds at a scale. Requiring sign-in for those sections is the most effective tool we have. It takes a minute to register, it's free, and it keeps what happens here between actual members.

Frequently Asked Questions
Matt Cubiero and Kostas Moros were/are members at Calguns, and Matt posted about his court cases. There was also a CRPA member-name. Chuck (or someone on his behalf) posts CRPA stuff on TwitteX; Kostas posts a lot there. So there is/was some interest in social media.
Agreed, as they should. A website such as CAGuns is a perfect hunting grounds to sign up for and donate to CRPA- posting stories-from-the-front-line would be an awesome narrative column...Especially now with a fresh audience.

Speaking from nearly twenty years of trying to do that, one would be far better off buying Chuck Michel's book at https://www.calgunlawsbook.com/ and becoming a member of CRPA so you get their email.

Generally, the book is conservative in its interpretation - attempting to do even slightly unusual things in CA pretty much requires a large legal fund and having Michel & Associates on speed dial.
Librarian, I very much appreciated your insights on these matters on the other board, and am very happy to see you on here!
