What 380’s are on the roster?

Just go from .22 to 9mm. There's no reason to go to .380 in between. That's just wasting ammo. .380 is more expensive than 9mm.
This is true. There’s really little difference in recoil between 9mm and .380. And remember, .380 is really 9 mm with a shorter case. My 1934 Beretta is marked as 9mm Corto. Corto is Italian for short.

First time I got my hands on a ppks in 380 I was deadly accurate. First time I shot back to back with both the hellcat and 365 in 9mm I could barely hit anything. Similar distances. 9mm out of a very small frame requires practice. Different strokes.

I build a Glock 25 using a complete slide from the Glock store and a Glock 19 gen 3 frame. There is a substantial difference in recoil between the 19 and 25. The Glock 25 is basically a Glock 19 that can shoot 380.

I also looked into the Sig P365 and adding a 380 conversion on it, the costs just skyrocketed quickly. And it also seems like 380 conversion is no longer available.

What I read and saw about the Shield EZ in 380 sounded promising for a low recoil 380 pistol. Unfortunately neither are on the roster, but I have seen a Glock 25 build like mine on the marketplace here. The upshot of the 19/25 build is that you can easily swap between 9 & 380 by swapping slides and mags, the G25 runs best with the 380 mags.

A blowback 380 can feel worse than a 9 recoil operated pistol, but recoil operated 380s are much easier ti manage for people sensitive to recoil.

FYI I have a PPK/s in 380 and it definitely is not a pistol for inexperienced shooters. It is very accurate and fun, but anything over 50 rounds starts to feel like a chore.

A lot of 380s tend to be smaller blowback pistols, which feels snappier than 9mm. If you're looking for something soft-shooting, you can try something like the Beretta PX4 Storm in 9mm. The rotating barrel action really does reduce the recoil and makes it a really smooth shooter.
