Santa (Me) bough the family a PS5, Peloton bike, 2 Apple headphones and small kitchen play set for the little ones. In return I received a pack of socks and a sweater .

I gifted my oldest son a lower receiver so he can build his first AR. Feeling left out, I placed a pre-order deposit on a LCP Max for myself…

New stereo for the '94 EB Bronco. Need to have the tunes so you don't hear the rattles.

The kids and grandkids were at the house for Christmas Eve and most stayed over for Christmas Day...That's all I needed.

Otherwise, I asked for nothing and received it.

New stereo for the Bronco, that's very cool.
I actually found a Christmas deal for a Sony home stereo (disc player & receiver) at Crutchfield for such a low price, I can't even mention it.
I have 2 high end speakers already from a previous set up. Love the sound!

I also brought home a new CZ 75 D PCR on the 21st. What a lovely little thing.
I have no idea why I did that. Some things are not meant to be known by us humans.
My LGS had done a smart thing. He kept 3 samples of CZs on the counter top and mentioned, they might be pulled of the roster.
Trick or no trick, once I held it in my hand, I knew we were meant for each other.

- CMMG Dissent Rifle (in Charcoal Green to match the CMMG Banshee I just got)
- HK P2000SK V2 in .40 S&W (my favorite caliber) They're getting blown out and I couldn't resist the pricing
- S&W 340PD I've always wanted one, pricing was great (Make an Offer at @2azone FTW!!), $50 rebate, and it's so light it feels like a cap gun, haha!! It should be exciting to shoot with .357 mag loads!!

Managed to pick up Weller 12, Stagg 24A, and a Springbank 15. Received love and Oakleys for shooting, gave crypto to the youngins and giving some silver here. Once I get back can’t wait to get things going!

Got some bits and baubles, bought some new Le Creuset and Staub stuff for the wife, as I'm through buying new non-stick yearly. Also finally replaced her "everyday" wedding band (14kt white) that needed new rhodium plating with a platinum & diamond 1ct eternity band.

I also got a Leatherman Charge+ Tti and snazzy leather belt shealth for it. I asked Santa for a HK VP9, but according to the wife, Santa doesn't put guns under the tree for Xmas. *sigh*.

Overspent a little on friends and our close circle neighbors, but it was a good year for us and felt like spreading it around a bit. It's incredibly selfish of me that I like giving gifts, but am generally adamantly opposed to receiving.

There's probably worse traits to have, I suppose.

Yes, I remember your rig from the slide milling thread.

I've got a P2000 V2 40 full size and really like it. The LEM trigger is my preference in a hammer-fired HK for sure.

Especially when it comes to warranty, which if we're being honest is partly why we pay that ridiculous markup on 2 very basic, inexpensive elements, cast iron and ceramic.

I forgot to add that there was one thing that bugged me and that was the slide stop rattle. I swapped mine out for the slim slide stop and the rattling stopped.
