What's Your Biggest Gun Selling Regret?

I sold an S&W 4567 to fund the purchase of a CHP S&W 4006TSW. I got a fair price for the 4567, but it was just a really cool pistol in a factory reverse two tone. Nothing else really comes to mind for regrets in terms of sales or trades.

I know this one's silly, a German frame P226 (one without rails that was pretty banged up), man say what you wanna say about Sigs - wouldn't buy any of the new ones today but wow, older Sigs (German made ones) are amazing! I still have my other German made P226R and it is an amazing pistol! Forget the MK25, the German made ones are something!

Contradictory to what I said earlier, I'm actually offloading a few handguns this year. Who wants a Ruger 5.7 + RDS package? Such a fun gun -got y'all's attention so figured I'd take the shot.

Keep your eyes peeled for my posts. Other guns are like new roster guns, going for good prices bc my time is worth more than making an extra 100 bucks; some other handguns will be off roster but haven't decided which yet

Also, why is the USP 45 more prized than the 9? Or are they not and equally desirable? I seem to get from my readings that the 45 is more collectible? Maybe I misunderstood?

Years ago, I bought a Mauser Karabiner 98k on sale at Big 5 for something like $179.99. It was a great target rifle. A few years later, I sold it to a friend who was getting into WWII cosplay and needed a gun for his bad guy costume. I think I sold it for $350 because that was, more or less, the going price at the time.

An honorable mention is my grandfather’s Army issued Colt 1911. Apparently, he made some deal to buy it from the Army, then it was stolen out of his checked baggage, along with some other valuables, when he was sailing back to the U.S. in 1946. If that hadn’t happened, I would’ve inherited have my grandpa’s sidearm from WWII.

The only gun I've ever sold was an inexpensive 20 gauge pump with a deer carved in the stock by the previous owner. This was shortly before the rest of my firearms went up in flames, so it's possibly the only gun still in existence from my childhood/teen collection. So, on the off chance that you or anyone you know have this, I'd like to buy it back, maybe...

The P226 is still in the family, I handed down to my son. But did pick up a used W German P220 recently.

Yep. Funny timing. It's been a safe queen since I brought her into the state. Just took it out to shoot a mag or 2 out of it last week. Ruger installed and tuned it to work perfectly with a Vortex RDS on it before I acquired it. Have a bunch of ammo too. Good timing finding my post I forgot about. I just recently decided to sell since she doesn't get the attention she deserves. DM if you want to discuss.
