Where to get Steel AK Mags?

Where can I find steel AK magazines? I’m looking for 10/30 steel mags, but I’m not sure about pricing. I’ve heard Bulgarian steel is good; GunMagWarehouse has them for $15, but how can I get them pinned or blocked cheaply?

Since pinning/blocking costs an extra $8–$15, I'd be paying around $30 total. At that price point, which magazines should I be buying instead?

Appreciate any help. I have an M70 btw, ik some mags are finicky.
 
You're options are you're wishful thinking. You are in CA. You want AK steel "10/30" Mags cheap? Buy it in-store riveted cheaply made American/Korean/Croatian steel mags. Even modern production bulgy mags are similar quality. But not all stores will have them.

You'd want good AK mags for AKs. Those go for $40-200 depending on quality and origin.

Modern bulgarian mags are the same quality as cheap korean mags? I thought bulgarian mags are thicker steel.

I just saw moka raifus has yugo m70 surplus mags for 21.99 + 8.00 pinning, might get that

the kci Korean AK mags are crappy (no disrespect to my Korean bros)
Stick with Euro steel for the win. Polish, Yugo, Romy, Hungarian, etc etc but Chinese are good, too

If you're in socal, I've got a few steel surp mags in various conditions. I sold off all my aks so i'd be willing to part with them.

how do they compare to yugo surplus? Im leaning towards them after finding out theyre the same price as Bulgarian steel.

Yugo mags have bho, bolt hold open. Your bolt will hold open on empty mag which allows you to utilize the bolt handle cut in your m70 safety lever.
 
ended up going with the moka's raifus m70 mags btw, for anyone else that comes across this thread. Will update this message when they arrive, but they looked good in pics
