Did a PPT that lasted an hour. Staff was double and triple checking the same paperwork that they just completed. Saw multiple staff working on one transaction. Small stuffy shop that got crowded multiple times.

Thanks for stopping by! Right now we're training two completely new team members which is likely what you saw with multiple staff working the same transaction. We also double and triple check our work, especially with PPTs, to ensure that we don't have to re-DROS anything and have to have the seller come back. Usually we average about 20-30 minutes on a single gun PPT, but the newer guys may be taking their time to ensure that everything is correct.

I've purchased several brand-new pistols and completed a few PPT transfers through this shop, and every visit has been a great experience. Me and a buddy went here a few weeks ago and he picked up a beretta and I got a revolver on consignment. The guys were cool and they had great deals on ammo.

Loads of guns everywhere and they even had these specific 10packs of slugs I like to use.

If i ever need ammo or wanna look at some guns on consignment I would come here pretty quick

Did a PPT here. Wow, it gets busy. Small store so it’s also cramped inside. PPT process was very slow, the staff needed to double check paperwork and what not. They were professional but I would not come here to conduct 2A business myself. I spent close to 2 hours for the PPT…unacceptable

Took over an hour from start of paper work to finish. Unbelievable. Are they hourly employees? Business should re-evaluate this. I’d rather pay $100 premium at Eastbay Guns Livermore. Took 15mins lol. Never again at elite.

I get it. Solar tactical is a nearby option. They open earlier and they don’t make you wait an hour after opening before they start PPTs.

Eastbay firearms are thieves. They mark up their stock 20-30% over MSRP and want to charge $100 for PPT? No thanks.

I had the same experience too

Have done two PPTs here - all four times there was a long line out the door (usually 2-3 people working the counter, the next 4-5 people in line can fit in the shop, line extends outside). Has taken anywhere from 30-100 minutes to get to the counter. Gotta be in the door by 5PM to do PPT. PPT themselves were smooth: no errors, no bs, no extra fees.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and paperwork is done efficiently if you have everything you need. Have seen them patiently explain requirements, different purchase options, etc. to many customers and would say this is a very beginner-friendly shop.

Did a PPT here today. Pretty busy, had to wait a little while in line, but transaction was handled smoothly. Small store, but 3-4 employees were actively helping people the whole time. Friendly vibe from everyone. Good experience, but other stores can be a little faster. Prices for consignment stuff were on the higher end, so didn't end up with anything new.

Friendly guys, easy going attitudes. The shop gets busy. I would recommend for PPT and regular purchases from them.

Solar Tactical is only a few blocks away and they start doing PPTs at 10a. In my experience they are also a little less busy.

Open 11-6:30 Tues-Sat, but PPT's are only done from noon to 5pm.
