“The Darkside” (Corporate Stores) FFL

Why is Turners so slow
Because they hire entry level workers, most never a gunowner until they start working. Past mega-retail (Walmart, Target, etc.) employees.
And they do bunch of unnecessary paperwork that they make you pay for, because they have 💩ty ass lawyers.

Remember, their 💩ty ass lawyers and the higher management of Turners told CA to F- themselves during Freedom Mag week, until they realized they F-ed up and ordered thousands of the crappiest mags (Amend) to try and sell to CA'ians on the last day of Freedom Week.

At least the “Dark side/Opposition” only charges $10 for PPT. 🤷‍♂️
@Plenty_Pack_556 really nailed it with his comment.

Because Turners is the largest gun seller in CA, that means that their stores are likely going to be the source of guns used in crimes. In fact Turner’s total alone linked to crime was higher than the combined tally of the next top five dealers in the state in the last year that it was measured ('24?)

This means LOTS of scrutiny from CA DOJ

So they over compensate with a draconian excess of paperwork, and a requirement that all paperwork be double and triple checked before being processed at each step.

Add this extra complexity to the least experienced gun store employees around, and you get a 2.5 hour PPT.

I'll buy new guns from Turners without hesitation but will only PPT there if someone absolutely insists and refuses to be talked out of it, and I'm feeling like a sucker that day.

Did not know about the freedom week thing. I rarely go to Turners but you just gave me one more reason to drive past it
