🔥Adapting Glock Gen 5 Slides to Gen 3's for 19 & 26 👀

I was going to update my other post (Glock GPT in Gen 3) with these videos, but I couldn’t find an edit option—so here's a fresh one.

Glock finally released the Gen 3 MOS slide… after I had already gone through the trouble of doing it myself. So at this point, my setup might be more of a novelty—but it could still be worth checking out if:

  • You prefer the sleeker bull-nose front over the standard Gen 3’s blocky look
  • You want front serrations without paying for aftermarket work
  • You’re into optics and like the idea of running something like the Holosun SCS MOS

That last one was my main reason. I wanted to run the SCS MOS, and sending a Gen 3 slide out to be cut wasn’t ideal—the rear sight location on non-MOS slides makes it tricky.

Anyway, here are videos of both the Glock 19 and Glock 26 builds. Let me know what you think or if you’ve done or thought about something similar!

Here's how to adapt a Glock Gen 5 Slide to your Gen 3 Frame for the 19

Here's some testing of the Gen 3 19 with Gen 5 slide

Here's the Glock Gen 5 slide on a Gen 3, 26. There were many naysayers (on Glock specific forums) for this one, so that's why you'll hear a bit of a sarcastic tone in this video.

Here's my first range trip. Have had several more since then.

So far over 1k rounds on the 19 with zero malfunctions and around 500 on the 26 also without any malfunctions.
