3 in 30 Rolling Calendar

I am confused about this 3 in 30 rolling calendar. If I PPT'd a pistol on April 7th and two more on April 21st, when can I buy two lowers? One store told me PPT's don't count. Another told me that the whole calendar (ability to buy 3 more firearms) starts 30 days after the intial purchase (May 7th). And finally Google tells me its rolling, so I can buy one firearm May 7th and than two more May 21st? Anyone know the answer?

The PPT exemption is definitely toast, it's 3 transfers in 30 days period.

And I believe it does "roll", with the earliest transfer(s) "expiring" from the count, allowing you additional transfers as the older ones drop off your total "3" allowance.

Doesn't do you any good in regards to the 3 in 30. Your choices are an 03 FFL + COE, or being LEO, among a few other options that don't apply to most of us common folk.

I’m going to go a step further and suggest that gun owners in California stop voting blue. The Democrat Party’s assault on our constitutional right to keep and bear arms is relentless and will not stop until they succeed in effectively banning gun ownership in this state altogether.

PPTs count
The rolling count is correct. If you are only buying one firearm you can submit on 5/7 but if you want 2 or 3 you need to wait til 5/21
You can view your DROS's and it will show you the Lastest Delivery Date. Once that passes you can submit a new DROS. Just keep track of all of them and make sure you dont have more than 3 in that window.

It’s pretty easy….at no point can you have more than 3 active DROS Applications in a 30 day window.

3-in-30 is for DROS submissions: New from dealer inventory, used from inventory, consignment, PPT, out-of-state transfers, etc.

Easy workaround: Get an 03 FFL + COE.

I just submitted on six (6) yesterday (can’t waste that DROS fee, haha!!). With 03+COE it’s a non-issue.
