Are OC Guns and Heavy Machine the same store?OC Guns got new owner early last year or year before and it has gone to.
The new owner has a serious Napolean / Short Man Syndrome. Short guy driving around a lifted with big wheels on a F350 or something. Takes him like a 50 point turn to park his truck.
I bought a semi AR pistol via PPT during the old owners and the employee that handled my dros became the new owner, and I tried selling the same semi AR pistol via PPT with new owner and he got scared and denied PPT from happening. Excuse was that his lawyer said it was questionable transfer despite me having previous dros paper with OC Guns on it.
You'd figure the new owner would look into getting the old owners lawyers, but guess he cheaped out. (Also CAL.BAR could be the new lawyer., seen him around OC Guns and OC Gun's gunsmithing shop which is next door called Heavy Machine formerly known as Republic Rifle.)

They are right next to each other. I believe at one time they were affiliated but not now. Actually I think they are not on friendly terms now because OC Guns refers it's customers to Armstrong Armory for gunsmithing instead of next door.

So did Armstrong Armory screwed the pooch here or Heavy Machine? Heavy Machine formerly known as Republic Rifle have a history of not returning pistol slides and AR uppers.
They don't have in-house gunsmithing.
Armsstrong definitely overcharges.
I’ve never gone to either for gunsmithing. The staff at Heavy Machine were polite when I purchased a firearm they had on consignment. I was a bit surprised they were unwilling to engage in negotiations on price, but that could have been instructions from the consigner I suppose.
