A better Glock trigger

I just installed a Ghost 3.5 Standard connector and am not impressed.
It's for a Glock that is only a target pistol.
Is there a better connector out there? Something closer to 2lbs?

there's no safe Glock trigger close to two pounds, the closest would be the Timney but the design of the Glock is such that if the adjustment screws back out the gun can go off when you dont want it to. If you want a nice trigger I would just get a different gun, a Glock will never be good. Glock fans are more about proving you can be a good shooter with a mediocre trigger

The connector does not determine pull weight.
The different connectors have different camming angles on the surface that cams the trigger bar downwards to release the striker.
The longer the camming angle, the less force you get to make the trigger bar release the striker, but also the more pull LENGTH you get before the gun fires.
Changing glock gen1-4 connectors will far have less pull weight effect on the final trigger pull than changing springs will.

The glock fire control system design has a pair of springs that are fighting each other.
The trigger pull weight is what overcomes that balance and lets the gun fire.
The primary spring that is creating trigger pull weight is the striker spring.
The striker spring needs to be strong enough to set off the primer so going too light on the striker spring also reduces reliability.
The other spring in the fire control system is the trigger reset spring.
The trigger reset spring actually helps pull AGAINST the striker spring so if you get an extra power trigger return spring, you get a lighter trigger pull because the trigger return spring is doing more of the trigger pull for you.
Then you have the drop safety plunger spring which is not directly bearing on the trigger but does bear on the trigger bar at an angle and therefore is felt in the trigger pull.

The crispest glock trigger pull (in typical glock gen 1-4) will be with a stock disconnector with an extra power trigger return spring, a lightly reduced power striker spring and a reduced power drop safety plunger spring.
Going to a lightweight striker allows more reliable ignition and the ability to run an even lighter striker spring.

Never had a Timney, but have Johnny Glocks triggers on all 5 of my glocks. The elimination of creep and mush is more important than pull weight. The JG kit is the whole thing with striker, springs, and trigger housing. I did not like the JG Vex shoe though, I opted for the stock shoe with dingus filed down so it's even to the trigger.

I've had overwatch DAT before, but JG is far superior IMO.

I believe JG still ships to CA.
