A Hoarders ? about spare screws that come with red dots.

As the title says, I guess I am a hoarder. I have a problem of getting rid of stuff nails, angle iron, wire clothes hangers, diabetic test strip container etc and all the screws that come with red dots even though they are for guns I will never own or use. It's kind of a Just-in-Case situation which I am sure will never happen. (Side note I think it would be cool to have the name Just N Case. I know Looney Toons.)
I know I need an intervention. So do you guys toss them or put them in your spare parts bin.

I don’t keep things just in case unless it’s a known to be discontinued item. A good example would be late model parts for cars.

If it’s not something like that I throw it away.

No coffee cans full of random screws in my work space.

Use a little container or ziplock bags. Good to have spares of those screws. I’ve just been keeping them in the optics box they come in since idk where you even buy those screws again.

I wouldn’t call that hoarding. My race team has enough spare parts to build entire complete motorcycles

I lost a tiny little screw from my DWXc optic and had to buy 100 to replace 1. I guess I have spares for life now, lol.

I have a small collection myself but have found it useful to have. When I had my G19.5 slide milled for an RMR, the screw holding the optic down went all the way through the slide and wouldn't allow me to remove the extractor assembly (took me a while to figure out why it wouldn't come out). So I went through all my screws trying to find the shortest one (they're not precision made and have various lengths) then ground the shortest one down to work. The more I work on my pistols the more I find that spare parts come in handy.

These are made of 410 hardened stainless steel. I’ve never had a problem with them. Read the reviews.

I label the small zip bag with a small rip of blue masking tape with a sharpie; and put them in spare parts bin.

They are artist supply cabinets with jewelry trays inserted.
Picked up from Amazon....wow the price has almost tripled.
Wanted something with thin drawers to maximum storage and most metal tool box's are very large.

My wife actually picked up a jewelry box at a local thrift shop for me.
Had noticed all the small tackle box trays I was using and keeping on a shelf.

The real plus was the jewelry trays.
You could use in any storage system.
Line the bottom of compartment with thin cardboard paper to write what the part is.
The compartment walls are thick enough to cut away and customize the space.

Straw from AM/PM
Cut end, fold in and melt with lighter.
Can store hammer springs/roll pins/small screws and use description paper as a plug.

If I was using daily would of picked up a machinist type cabinet.
Anything with thin drawers....can always add the jewelry trays.
