I recently heard/read about a hydraulic AR15 buffer, made by a company called KynSHOT (kynshot.com). I’ve heard of changing the weight of the buffer, or changing the recoil spring, but not this. This is the first piston-driven buffer I’ve seen, and it’s a drop-in piece just like the other options I just mentioned. I’d like to try it but I want people with far more time behind a rifle to properly put it though some real-world abuse and test it. Apparently this company makes them for AR-10, AR-15, PCC’s, and even for the Glock 19 and its clones.

The standard buffer works well and can be modified with changes to weight and spring specifications. Why add complication?
