Video A spent casing sets off a round in open ammo box

Not sure how old this video is but I saw it today for the first time. A guy at an indoor range has one of his spent casings ricochet off the ceiling (or the target holder track) and it comes down with enough force to set off a round in an open box of ammo.

I accidently dropped a quart Ziploc bag to the ground that was about 1/4 full of 30 carbine ammo and one of the primers was set-off by the corner of another loose round in the bag.
A cartridge going off outside of a gun is still quite noisy.
The pressure of some powder burning vented out the side of the case before the bullet was pushed out of the case.
The Ziploc bag was shredded.
The expended bullet was recovered 6-8ft away on the floor without any kind of dent in it.
Properly closed ammo storage boxes are a useful thing as they generally prevent these types of discharges.

I don’t see the comment that way. I take the reference to the national debt as one of scale in comparison. The chances of that happening to the shooter in the video are VERY small, something that could take a lifetime of trying to replicate it. That I believe is the essence. Nothing more.
