A surprise Milestone for me compared to Calguns

I am glad that Calguns is back up and running so well. It made me curious to compare my post count there compared to here. In the 16 years since I joined Calguns in 2010, I have posted 486 times. Yet in just under 3 years here, I've already hit 490 posts! Very interesting

That really speaks volumes about this site and its fantastic members. Even being a boomer, I find I connect better with younger boomers and generations than my own peers.

It's much easier to do with a site that works consistently!

Lol, do people consider you a fuddy boomer or a boomer that adapts well to modern firearms and equipment? I know its a weird question but I always find it interesting when there's members of both the Baby Boomer Generation and Silent Generation who actually are proficient and adaptable to modern technology including modern firearms.

Modern technology HELL NO, Firearms YES.
There are times I have spent up to 30 minutes trying to attach a photo here, drives me nuts. I ended up with iCloud photos, goggle photos, photos in Edge, personal & gallery etc, and this site only goes seems to only go to one site. So, what I have to do sometimes is drag a photo form wherever it is and put it on my desktop. But compared to my wife I am an Einstein, but she doesn't realize it is Frank Einstein.
Going to contact my IT people and see if I can rectify that.

Civility goes a long way. This site is run a lot better than CGN. CGN is dominated by extremely thinskinned, opinionated users and any opinion that doesnt align perfectly causes extreme butthurt of epic proportions. Its literally the end of the world over there if your opinion is even slightly different. I still stop by CGN a few times a month to check the marketplace now that the sight doesnt crash constantly. But theres no discussion threads of any value. Just same old tired views expressed as gospel.

In the 5 years I was active on Calguns, I had posted like 4000 posts or so before being banned. (S.O.A.R./Cheapbloke).

In the 2 years here, I'm at 1200ish.

Been on CAL since 2014, wasnt really a poster. Never linked the accounts to this site, and Im not sure you can even do that anymore.

Either way, I like this place much better and rarely visit CAL.
