15 yards , no glasses and yes I need them but they make the red dot look like a star if I wear them and I generally don't carry them unless I am driving or reading. so I practice worst case scenario, no glasses on me.
I am just starting with red dots, I think I am better with the 1911 and irons but like some mentioned here it's a me problem, not a gun problem. capacity has appeal but hitting what I am aiming at has more appeal. upper left is AFTER I got the red dot to my liking at 5 yards. shots are not "fast" nor are they "slow" enough , as soon as I thought I was on target I let it rip, 2-3 secs max. between shots.
