I have two 800 lb 60 gun safes and that's before loading them full of rifles and handguns. Thought of ever having to move those two pigs out of this house would suck horribly

well if you are in Orange County or River Side I know people that buy or move them depending on the brand and quality.

No way I was doing it without the powered pallet jack, but those things are fantastic.

...one of them would also make it easy to steal just about any safe that isn't well-bolted down with no gap to fit under also, even a 4k pound one.

You can do it with a regular pallet jack and one or two people but it's a lot of pushing. These make it simple as mowing the lawn with an old self powered walk behind lawnmower.

I went the Egyptian way when I moved my larger safe in. I bought a bunch of pvc sprinkler pipe, cut about 10 pieces just wider then the width. We rolled it in while rotating the last piece and moving it to the front and so on and so on. Didn’t leave a mark on the hardwood floors. Just make sure you sweep the floor as you you move along or at least before you start. Ha ha ha I think there are two kinds of people on this planet. People that wish they had bought a larger safe the first time… And the others are liers

Ask where you bought the new safe if they take trade-ins or consignment sales. That way you have have the old safe removed when the new one is delivered. If you sell it on your own the buyer will still need to hire someone to move it for them.

I’d much rather have two smaller safes than one large one. They would be easier to move. And they could be in two different locations if you wanted.
