I had play airsoft off and on since the early 2K. Played indoor and outdoor local fields. I had a couple different AEG rifles and gas pistols. My first AEG was a Tokyo Marui M4 RIS (picture), I actually passed it down to my nephew a couple years ago. Literally, a 20+ years old relic.
The sport has evolved quite a bit, but it has always been fun, if you don’t take too seriously. I have only play at local indoor and outdoors fields with mock up obstacles or small group meet up in wide open field and vegetations and nature feature. Definitely, teaches you where and how your kit can fail and the importance of cardio. When playing indoors, the game becomes whose gun can shoot the most bbs per trigger pull, wins. Overall, I would totally play again, if I had the time. It’s mainly for movement and tactics, not so much of shooting mechanism training. It’s feels just like real life counter-strike.
