What do yall prefer?

I recently got two Tenicor Velo 5 holsters and a tier 1 axis elite.

I got them kind of on a whim, not much research if any.

My CCW qual was done with polecraft holsters I got off Amazon. Those were okay but the printing was pretty bad so I returned them.

Tenicor or TXC for compact and full size guns, JMCK for smaller or custom stuff such as the bodyguard 2.0, Bitter Root for quality leather holsters. Pretty much everything I carry besides the BG2.0 is a 2011 though.

Your handgun choice and body type factors in more than brand. For my Hellcat, I like my Phlster Skeleton. For my Model 19, I like the Problem Solving Tool.

I currently use a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite. It makes my XMacro & spare mag easily disappear. Prior to that, I've used ANR Design and Vedder Holsters for my P365XL. I got tired of a spare mag in its own holster on my left side, so I switched to the T1C....

I used a gcode Incog from 2015 to 2025 and was happy with it, switched to a T1C and was very disappointed with the bulk and adjustments and canned it after a couple days of trying it but that’s just me. Went with a tenicor certum3 and it is absolutely the best AIWB holster I’ve tried and have enjoyed it for the last year. FWIW my experience was always with a Glock 19 or similar compact size pistol

So I’ve been running the axis elite for a week now. Very comfortable. Not sure what they did to make it disappear in the belt line but I am impressed.

I was expecting more bulk given its much larger than a normal holster, but it actually feels smaller than it looks.

I’m carrying an M18 with AXG legion frame. 10/21 mags so opted for the extended mag setup.

I might add a mastermind pillow for additional tuck given the mags have the longer baseplates but so far I am very pleased

What model holster do you go for usually?

ANR and Werkz for me personally. Way higher quality than T1C, Trex, or WTP. Haven’t heard bad stuff about Tenicor.

I have a Certum 3 for my Shield Plus and P229 (actually a P320 holster) and a Velo 5 Lux for Glock 19 compact light.

I need to get Certum 4 Lux’s for my P365 and C4X and a Velo 5 for my PDP

hoping they make one for the MC9 Prime

Tenicor only these days. And rarely phlster enigma. Otherwise I have a huge box of holsters I will never use again
