Still waiting to see someone show a P320 go off with no trigger pull

I think that was the drop safe issue

isnt that part of the reason they did the voluntary upgrade send ins? not related to the current topic of course but you know

That was drop safety concerns.
The old trigger/sear was so heavy (weight of the actual components removed from the gun, not the trigger return spring) that dropping the gun on it's rear face could cause the trigger/sear to trip from momentum.

An in-trigger safety could have solved that but they decided to simply make the parts lighter and add a drop-safety in the slide/striker system instead.

I guess not.
But holstering an old-style P320 won't make it fire because the forces of holstering are keeping the trigger from moving rearwards.
The 2017 recall/update was ONLY concerning the gun being dropped on its rear face.

if he says "show me a video of a 320 going off without a trigger pull" and someone links an old video of one failing the drop safe method pre upgrade. what would that be in relation to the "show me video" . see phrasing comment, yes its not that deep and yes its a simple joke. thanks for ruining it
