How did y'all like paying for Kestryll's mom's funeral costs and his vacation times?

Wonder if he would put in a ...% for y'alls.

If I had his phone number and I was forcibly pay into his account despite his absence from forums, I'd call him to personally tell him F U.

A phone call to the financial institution from where the funds are withdrawn from should stop it, that seems pretty basic. That’s why I like my credit union, as the personal service is excellent.
I have always been distrustful of any arrangement that automatically takes $$ from an account.
As to donations of any kind, unless I have either a direct say in how $$ is spent, or I believe that others can be trusted on my behalf, I do not donate. The Calguns train wreck is a perfect example of why. I would feel betrayed had I been a $$ contributor, but to each their own.

This type of thing happens disproportionately with specific merchant codes. This makes things difficult for them in a lot of way. You can do this, but just keep in mind if you do it to a 2A company its possible they can lose their merchant capabilities and also make it more difficult for new ones to start.

It was worth donating while it lasted. I was able to cancel through PayPal like someone had suggested so I never got charged again.

While you may have been told that it was because of chargeback issues, the odds are far better that the Anti-2A culture was the reason. They are just doing it for the children... by making it as difficult as possible for law abiding citizens to exercise their 2A rights.

While I know you don't like to introduce "politics" into the equation (for GOOD REASON!), there has been a VERY strong movement by Anti-2A activists to force CC issuers to section off and create "special" 2A related CC codes and brand all those transactions as "socially undesirable"... once identified it's easy to say "we don't serve your kind around here".

I won't say anything further, but just because you aren't paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to "get" you. You have come to the realization that pro-2A people are usually "good eggs", I've seen the same, but I've found that many friends and family have been "poisoned" by anti-2A propaganda and the emotionally manipulative way firearms are portrayed in the media. People believe things they see on the Internet, regardless of whether they are TRUE, and it's one reason that we SHOULD be willing to have honest discussions when there are "issues".

As an aside, you'd be shocked at the level of pressure certain agencies put on FFLs because of "it's for the children" political pressure... MANY have gone out of business or bailed from CA because of that "get them bad apples" mindset that is insidiously present!


As far as Kes's personal situation, I will only say that personal life circumstances can sometimes be insurmountable, and being thrust into a "caretaker" position can put anyone off the rails. If you haven't walked in those shoes... be thankful. And if you have, you know that showing some mercy, grace, and understanding is much needed.

There is a large anti-2A movement in this country where huge financial investment company's had divested stock holdings from their portfolio's with manufacturers like Colt, Remington, S&W, etc is what I have seen in the past 4-5 years to be honest and some how they tried to make it into something to brag about. Big name Banks did the same with woke CEO's stating they will no longer provide loans to anything tied to 2A, wither that was actually true is a different story but I defiantly recall reading such statments along with seeing them make them, I almost bailed on Citi because of it and the ironic thing is they all got exposed as being big donors of a certain party as shocking as that may be lol.
The AG of this State with Newsome's blessing (or direction) effectively wiped out gun shows which generated huge amounts of income just like his Pop did wiping out the logging & mining industry of CA, is it only me that finds it strange the largest gold mining industry that is active here is owned by a Canadian company?

I do agree however anyone that gets charged for something they wanted to drop was lazy in execution and doing due diligence following it up, I have been there before with shady operations, my bank always got it back when I brought it to their attention showing the documented proof.

What Ikeo was saying to me was fiscal responsibility lay's within and dealing with it properly.
As I said I got involved with more then a few sites that billed me after I did just what they said to do to end it, once I brought that to the attention of my bank it stopped and I got fully refunded.
