Are HK P2000 magazines extinct?

Factory mags for any discontinued HK pistol will keep going up in price gradually as time goes by when you can find them. I have seven 8 rounders for my P7 and though you can still find them, I've seen them advertised anywhere from 120 to 160 dollars apiece.
Therefore.. buy CZ and Glock. Life will just get better. 😂

The USPc is still in production. It shares mags with the P2K. Why would P2K mags be unavailable?
Is the USPc even made anymore? Doesn't seem super available. I think the mags are not 100% the same but interchangeable

HK USA’s website still lists it. In terms of mags, the factory mags I have for my P2K are marked for both the USPC and US P2K. One interesting thing about the P2K is that there are US and Euro versions that have different frames and mags - this was apparently the result of compliance with the shameful, disgusting, and unconstitutional Clinton AWB of 1994. The US P2K frame was redesigned to use USPC mags.

P2000SK is also listed but no longer made

Any idea of a good value? Chatgpt says $35-40 used is fair, I got low balled $25 by some LA bozo, but at that price might as well keep them for spares

Used is hard to value. Depends on condition and if they’re currently available. I’d say around 20% off MSRP for used/good and go down from there.

Does anyone know if the 12 round P30SK flush fit mag also fits? The 15 round with the extension and the 10/12 round pinky extension both fit. Never seen the plastic base flush fit though. Mine has a rubber bottom

Yes and no. The VP9SK/P30SK 9MM 12rd (50256714) magazine fits in the P2000SK 9mm and functions, however the round base nose is moulded for the VP9SK/P30SK and it just barely hits the square notch mould on the P2000SK. The mags aren't supposed it make contact there, they should have a slight gap.

So what's the downside

There's tension or slight downward pressure on the magazine base. This is not the way the magazines are designed to fit. How will this actually effect long term function and or reliability is the question. Maybe give HK a call tomorrow see what they have to say.

I'll take your word for it and just stick to the other 3 styles hah
