Hopefully it is not gun related. I know you know this, but this is more for anyone else reading this. We know the gun laws better than 99% of most police officers. Do not ask cops about gun laws. Ask here or better yet ask a reputable firearms attorney.

Non-gun related, go for it.

Very true.
Problem is, it’s the cops who because so many are not current of current law, sometimes make decisions in the field that have life-long lasting implications upon those they interact with. For those reading this from places where simple things are of no concern, we here in California are saddled with restrictions that the violations of can lead to a complete ban on firearm ownership for life.
Be careful out there!
