Available options for a build

Hey all. Im in the process of building an AR and I kinda like the idea of a shotgun style stock on an AR (like the foxtrot). Im building a 224 valkyrie and am picking up an upper at the end of the month.

Are there any adapters I can get for the buffer tube? Or do I need to get a whole new lower?

The fightlite is a totally different setup to get that shotgun stock to work.
You need a whole new lower and a different bolt carrier group that works with the special lower.
The shotgun buffer tube screws into the receiver at an angle and it's smaller diameter to allow a shotgun stock to fit over it.
The carrier is shorter and has an pivoting op-rod that connects the shorter carrier to the sliding buffer in the smaller buffer tube.

The Foxtrot Mike lower, CMMG dissent and Brownells BRN180 lowers only works with uppers where the action spring is built into the upper and do not have buffer tubes or springs in the lower.
