Best store to buy a gun safe in SoCal?

Thanks for the great suggestions! I’m looking in the $1800-3000 range, but I don’t have a specific budget.

Looks like West Coast Safes and Dean Safes are my two top choices. I’m particularly interested in the Liberty safe colonial line, which I have had before. So I can stop by and compare to other safes.

Let’s put thousands of dollars in weapons and valuables in a $500 cabinet!! Seems right.
I cannot understand why anyone in their right mind would buy a security cabinet at Harbor Freight or Costco? And that’s what they are technically. They aren’t safes. A safe has minimum metal thickness, a different locking mechanism and a specific fire rating.

Don’t cheap out. Buy a good safe. (Amsec) American Security in Fontana has excellent safes. They are not cheap but worth every penny

+1 on offer up I scored a cannon on offer up 800lb single door 6 bolt awesome safe for cheap (moving sale) came and picked it up the guy could not have been happier.
Besides dealing with all the flakes on offer up…. sometimes you can score.

Sturdy safe out of Fresno

4 gauge steel. Can’t do much better than that. I went with 7 gauge, could have gone with 4 for more $$ but felt 7 was enough, especially when compared with some of the name brands and Costco, etc. who use 14 which is a joke.

If you have a truck just look on offer up or craigslist people give them away for free all the time when they are moving

I know this isn't Brick and Mortar, but if you buy from Costco you can get the white glove service where they will completely unpack it, put it where you want, and haul away all the trash

Call me paranoid, but having a couple of random Costco dudes show up to my house and place a safe for me is not the security I prefer.
