I own the older one without the Velcro. The new ones with the 2 belt system are a lot better and more convenient.

Have you tried their EDC belts?
I remember looking at the old one. I had plans to buy it, burn holes through it and us Safariland’s ALS connections to attach all of the holsters and pouches. Right before I pulled the trigger, Blue Alpha released their dual belt package. Love the system now!

I own the EDC belt, FANTASTIC belt!! Stiff where it needs to be, flexible where it needs to be.
Here's my story, I've lost 55 pounds in the last 6 months, the belt simply became too big. Blue Alpha allowed me to exchange my belt for a smaller size TWICE at NO CHARGE!! I was even outside the return window and told them I am willing to pay for the replacement, but they just did the exchange anyway. That kind of customer service sets them apart and I am a lifelong customer. I'm going to look at the double belt package now since the EDC buckle does flare out somewhat.
Highly recommended!
