Buyer requesting to see hi res pictures up close of my firearm for sale. Scam or just cautious buyer?

All of those thousands of great photos on gun forums are easily searched and if found to be listed on other forums, the likelihood of a scam is high. Unique emailed photos that are not already displayed elsewhere are easier to convince someone of because you can't just do a 3 second google image search and find they're posted elsewhere already.
Wouldn't the solution to all this be to... meet in person and inspect the firearm? that's what I do whenever I buy from a private party. You can see everything up close irl than in a picture.

Bc how do I even know the pictures I see in an email haven't been photoshopped or made to look better than the firearm is? That's just my 2 cents.
