CA legal Glock gen 6 rumor mill

Why did they renew Gen 3 on the roster? Was it just to be able to continue offloading their remaining stock? What're the chances they renewed so that they could grandfather in the "not easily convertible to auto" cruciform trigger fix? Isn't that an easier route than trying to shoehorn a mdm and cli?

They renewed it to sell the last of the stock through the deadline later this year. They have no reason to keep the gen 3s in production since they are planning to bring the gen 6 to our market supposedly. Unfortunately that means that it'll have to come with the magazine disconnect and larger LCI, with no option to get the gen 3 new without these extra safety features.
