Agreed. The 43 is one of the oldest microcompact designs and still uses an obsolete "slimline" single-stack magazine. It's not competitive at all compared to the 365, Shield X, Hellcat, etc... Just Glock trying to peddle their old AF design on desperate Californians.

The only significance of Glock getting a 43 on the roster is that they should be able to get a Gen 6 on the roster. I'll give a when I see a Gen 6 19, 17, or 45 on the roster. Otherwise, I couldn't give a F- about an obsolete pistol like the 43 that was surpassed years ago by other gun makers.

Here’s a better idea, start a private forum/website exclusive for non Glock owners.

This is great for people to get their hands on Glocks flagship micro compact. But people will soon realize that it isn't the best option for a pistol in that class, especially if your coming from shooting and owning guns like the x-macro, shield x, guns that are meant to be shooters and not just a novelty carry pistol that is hard to shoot straight and more than often needs training or optics/better sights to be proficient. The 43/43x feels great in the hand, the weight, the size and the bore axis etc...but other guns shoot so much better IMO. Don't get me wrong I love Glock and the 43x and placed my pre-order but its not the holy grail!

I wouldn't pay more than $400 lol. They're $434 online.... also $712 with tax for me based off $600 new price. Can't justify paying a premium on an outdated gun with poor features when we have so many amazing guns on market
