CA legal(on the roster) Glock G4 3X pre-order(Turner's outdoorsman) $599.99

I truly do not understand the hype around this piece of 💩. Reddit and here blowing up about it. It’s a $500 Glock with no features. Why even buy this thing over the 100 other options with more features at similar price points?
“I know what I got.”

Now that Turner’s pre-order price for CA 43x is at $600, Out-the-door at Turner’s will be around $760. This will probably be a non-mos version because we all know CA likes to spoil the fun. For an extra $180 or less, depending on the slide finish you want, you can get a direct optic cut at Wager.

What would now be the realistic price for PPT “off-roster” 43x? Im thinking a clean “NIB/NBF” non-mos 43x should be around the $550 OTD. A clean “NIB/NBF” mos version should be around $700 OTD. Used mos or non-mos should obviously be less than OTD prices mentioned.

Am I way off on these prices? Too low/high?! What are your thoughts?
In a perfect world?
Maybe.

Agreed. The 43 is one of the oldest microcompact designs and still uses an obsolete "slimline" single-stack magazine. It's not competitive at all compared to the 365, Shield X, Hellcat, etc... Just Glock trying to peddle their old AF design on desperate Californians.

The only significance of Glock getting a 43 on the roster is that they should be able to get a Gen 6 on the roster. I'll give a 💩 when I see a Gen 6 19, 17, or 45 on the roster. Otherwise, I couldn't give a F- about an obsolete pistol like the 43 that was surpassed years ago by other gun makers.
Some of the rumblings mention those exact three guns coming back on to the roster…
