Hey everyone!

In an effort to modernize 2A platforms beyond just California, we’re expanding — and bringing the mission to Texas. Just like many folks who’ve moved out of CA for more freedom and opportunity, we’re launching TexanArmory.com to bring a clean, upgraded experience to the Texas 2A community.

Over the years, I’ve seen a big issue with a lot of firearms platforms: they didn’t keep up. Only the biggest ones put in the effort to upgrade systems, user experience, and infrastructure. Meanwhile, local markets and communities are often fragmented or outdated.

That’s where TexanArmory comes in. It’s a new platform inspired by the lessons we’ve learned from CAguns.net and Calguns-style communities built with help and input from users like you.

This is a standardized, automated, user-first resource built for Texas. If you or anyone you know is into firearms and lives in Texas, send them our way. We’re just getting started but the vision is big.

Some of you might've seen the post on Reddit, so here's a little more on the matter.

Nicely done. Must be nice having deep pockets. :)

Since you expanded to Texas from California, some there might be suspicious that you're a Californy liberal. You know, the Mark of Cain. Even here, some are suspicious of your politics. Hey, don't shoot the messenger, you've seen some of the posts on our now dead beloved website.

Anyway, I'm not seeing any introduction about the site or the owners. It might be good to say stuff like, we are a 2nd amendment supporting site, I/we are lifelong gun owners, pro-American, but we also support and defend all Americans regardless of politics, race, creed, blah, blah, blah. Including military experience for any staff is also recommended. Stuff like that. It's okay to have some liberal ideals. I'm a registered independent, have always had guns, believe in the right to own modern magazine fed rifles, night vision, without registration, etc. A Constitutionalist. But, I also believe in making Medicare pay for prescriptions and dental with no copays. Some would say, "look 👨🏻‍🎨!". lol. No. Just think we need to take care of the oldsters. Anyway, you see what I mean? Perception is critical to success, imo.

If you start to go national, I think this would be even more important.

It's not that deep. I'm using the extra capacity here to start building there. The startup cost is a lot lower for other instances once things get going. I'm just reinvesting what's earned here into there.

You're right. I have that on reddit but i'll move it over. I've been jumping back and forth between the sites. We have almost 200 people there and your CAguns.net login will work there! So all sites will use the same login starting the foundation for a reputation system that follows you.

If you might've noticed, I'm not that great at writing, more to the point and technical. You guys tell me what doesn't work and I fix it. Lol I'm not all that great with the promo stuff. We've been fortunate that everyone else has been passing on the word.
