Hey I was curious with SB 704 and AB 1263 being in affect, is there no way for me to obtain any CGW parts or is this something I have to order through an FFL?

Yup. Just recently got my Shadow 2 Orange back from Cajun but couldn't order parts (but they did slip something in the case that I needed).

Follow their directions exactly. If they say no mag, DO NOT include a mag. Put whatever paperwork in the box they say. Package it well so there’s no damage. Legally speaking, no, they have an FFL so you can ship to them directly and they can ship back. Call and ask them if you have any questions

My understanding is that they are not shipping to CA at all. I asked on the phone and they said no, I’d have to send in the gun. Crazy but I get they don’t want to deal with our BS laws.

Not much. The pro package (parts only) for the SP01 is $348. Installed by them is $482. Shipping is extra I assume.

They ship to your home (in California).

They’ll also likely ship to an FFL if you need that bit you’ll probably have to contact them directly.

The kit with reach reduction is the pro kit. You just need to choose color, hammer and trigger style that you want.

You have to piece it together but you start with this https://www.shootersconnectionstore...orks/Cajun-Gun-Works-SRS-2-Short-Reset-System then you need the hammer, trigger, adjustable sear and disconnector. If you go single action you can skip the disconnector but instead get a single action trigger. The install isn't hard the only tricky part is you need a good punch to get out the hammer pins. Sometimes the disconnector needs fitting but I didn't need to when I did it.

Hmmm I don’t see the disconnect offered separately. Only the one for the shadow 2. Did you have to get the reach reduction kit with the regular cz trigger to get the disconnector?

Well my most recent build that was purchased last month through SC was a single action so I didn't need the disconnector. But yeah looking at what they have available it looks like they only sell the firing pin block model disconnector with the trigger. They also seem to be out of stock on the race hammer. but you do want the race hammer, that's a big part of the upgrade and if you are fitting the adjustable sear you will only be able to do it once so you would need the hammer now vs upgrading later.

It's worth having CGW do the work as they are experienced with polishing the internals.

The "production legal" hammer is from a while back when they didn't allow a bunch of modifications to Production division guns, that hammer fell within the requirements but they now allow pretty much any internal modifications so any hammer will be fine for Production/carry optics
