Calguns Account Suspended?

Why are we bringing calguns bs over here at caguns?

It happens from time to time when Calguns has movement. The account suspension was a reminder of the sites instability.

There’s a lot of folks who came over here from there to discuss what might be happening.

It was one of the reasons this site came up. The unreliable nature of the site spurred me to create this one and modernize it. Though the people at CGN didn’t really help and Reddit did. The good folks from CGN have helped to polish where we’re rough around the edges later in CAguns journey.

It’s one of the main reasons we allow these discussions and welcome people from CGN. I was a member for 13 years, bought my first firearms from there. So I’m cheering for Kes to turn it around whatever his reasons.

I'll agree with most of what you said here but i'll state that Kes has had years to fix that site and plenty of offers for help and ignored it. calguns was our only platform to have a community for what really is important to 10s of thousands of Californians and his lack of ability to make calguns stable is a failure to all of us. I was sympatheic years ago, not so anymore today. He needs to hang it up and shut it down.

I'll agree with most of what you said here but i'll state that Kes has had years to fix that site and plenty of offers for help and ignored it. calguns was our only platform to have a community for what really is important to 10s of thousands of Californians and his lack of ability to make calguns stable is a failure to all of us. The same people that have helped ruined CG some are already members..."including Mods that have come over the ones who thought they were "Kes'es" God's"
I don't forget names much and I was around CG for enough years to see how people are treated by these individuals and if they had problems over there like being a flake or a no show or any kind of crap not following through with payment, not shipping an item ETC... and whatever else they like to do to stroke individual members for their own "pathetic thrills" you know what I'm talking about.

They will just make a new user name and change emails and continue their crap here.
Frustrated.. Sorry to motherless but this hit's home with me I have had issues with people on CG first hand Members, Mods almost wish this site wasn't free I'll pay to keep it clean.

You shouldn’t use CG to describe either site. It creates confusion because many people don’t know what site you are talking about. Please use CalGuns or CaGuns instead.

I was from calguns too but it's dead to me now, sadly. Thank God caguns is here now!

I am sick to death of the issues with Calguns. The site either needs to be fixed, or shut down. I emailed them offering to fix it with my own software, and didn't hear back...typical. With about 25 million posts, there are many technical challenges that need to be solved for a responsive site, and the erratic availability of it shows they didn't invest the time and money that it would have taken. Either way, I hope they save the data because there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of person-hours of knowledge that will be wasted. It's sad. At least it they ultimately bankrupt the corporation, someone can come in and purchase the archive.

What corporation? It's a one man show over there and unfortunately, he chose to not keep up.

It will be unfortunate if it goes away because of the vast amounts of knowledge there, both gun and 2A related, and otherwise.

He has a corporation called Calguns.net. It's not in compliance, although it's active with the Secretary of State.

And I personally don't care if it's up right now or working. Doesn't mean a thing. And regardless, the software is outdated. CAGUNS has much better interface and organization for content.
