Law News California is suing Polymaker

Latest news
How does this work is California is suing a company based in another state? Does it have to go to a federal court? Could the federal DOJ step in and weight their opinion?

Also, wasn't there already (supreme?) court president for arms manufacturers first amendment rights for advertising? Wouldn't this lawsuit clearly fit in the 1A rights?

They're suing them in California because they're doing business in California, i.e. exporting filament and marketing to people who live there.

Even though CA would obviously lose if this went to SC, they're still going to try, and it's going to waste a huge amount of Polymaker's resources to fight it.
