Can CA Echelon use any aftermarket grip module?

I am in the market for another gun, as if I don't have enough already. Was thinking about the Canik Rival SFX, I have the Canik Prime, but you guys have piqued my interest.

Where did you get your Powder River Spring Kit?

I got mine directly from Powder River but you can get them from Optics Planet as someone else noted.

I got mine from OpticsPlanet, they ship to CA. Made a huge difference! I also got the tyrant trigger which made a big difference but in a different way (no difference in weight but zero take up and crisper break/reset).

Ok. Not a fan of the PRP trigger shoe but the action enhancement is pretty good. So I may just swap with the Tyrant

According to Mischief Machine's website they arent shipping to California due to AB1263. They do have dealers that may be willing to ship but under the AB1263 restrictions, and it looks like most of them are out of stock. Just FYI.

As for the magazine disconnect. For the Echelon and other removable control unit handguns, most aftermarket grip modules do not have the slot/cut where the magazine disconnect sits. So it generally has to be removed before putting it into a new grip module. Some people file it down or remove it completely.

I put an order in with MM yesterday and it shipped. I haven't received it yet, but UPS shows the package received at Carlisle, PA.

Goodluck. I got my pre-order for the P365 COMMANDER ELITE canceled in Jan. Still bummed about it since it doesn't look like he ships that particular module to his dealers.

I'm still holding out for the Icarus compact grip that takes compact mags. But if the Sharps Brothers become available on the SA website when they have a sale, I may pull the trigger (pun intended).
