Feedback Canik Mete MC9 problems?

Recently purchased one and ran into the same issue with FTB. Seems there are issues since gun was intended for NATO rounds hotter than our typical 115gr. Also, some QAQC issues on the rails. Hoping I just need a break in period, but saw others had to get replacement parts or do small modifications.

Like i have said earlier wonder if there was a change to make ca compliant that is causing this problem.I know early free state models had an issue with the same thing,I waited about a year and got mine and have not had one hang up or issue and have shot alot of 115 through mine.

I know the fix was the recoil spring but heard cleaning up the feed ramp on the barrel also helped too.IMO they do need to do better at quality control though no reason to send out guns that may have an issue.I have their earlier tp9sf and that is a great gun which i really like to shoot.Same deal not one issue with it and very accurate.That is what sold me on the mc9 which i carry often
 
A coworker of mine had the same issue with his. We put about 500-1000 rounds through it and every other magazine you shoot, the gun would have issues going into battery. He tried some of the self fix solutions on Youtube and the problem was still occurring. He ended up reaching out to Canik and they sent him a new spring for free within days and it solved the issue. Over 500 rounds after spring replacement and not one malfunction.

Did he compare the gun with both springs in it?I know mine feels very stiff just wondering if there was a noticable difference in tension.

I put around 100 rounds through it and had several failures to go into battery which I know was an issue for these when they first came out. I have attached a few clips I got from the range. Please advise if I am doing something wrong (besides anticipating and flinching lol) or doing something to induce the malfunction. I limp wristed a mag but had no problem so I am unsure if it is me or the gun. Note there was no light primer strikes either.

Lmao just got my MC9 back from the factory for the same problems.. they said run 124g and I did for hundreds of rounds with no fix. They replaced the barrel and recoil spring and I have to go try it tomorrow. Typical problem I’ve heard.

I asked him today about it, he said he didn't feel too much of a different while shooting, after the replacement.
