So, Infinity sends out an on roster base model, and you send it back in to them to be converted to whatever the current model drop is?

No clue about Infinity but Nighthawk has that process. Buddy had a GRP --> Fire Hawk done.

No, for them I think its just sold as single shot.. The Nighthawk thing is a gunsmith package, that is separate but really cool too!
They leverage a compatible on-roster model for the initial DROS and to bypass needing to do SSE.
For Nighthawk: they'll only do specific conversions listed out on the site for the analogous model to another. They're truly working off of the same gun and customizing it.
For Infinity: On roster gun is sent to your FFL post drop secured, you DROS it and send it back, gun is modified and sent back to you to match what you bought for the drop configuration. This one is more grey - there are drops that don't match the same materials as the on roster version even if the end serial numbers match. Some don't look that gift horse in the mouth too closely and others steer clear.
Incorrect. Infinity uses their on roster model as the DROSed firearm after you win a drop and that's what's sent back to them for customization. So, it is very similar to the NHC EGI in a way.
