Recently acquired two of these. Build Quality is very nice. I shoot mainly S&W PC revolvers (327WR, 629SH, 627 V-Comp) but also own a couple RIA M200's. These are my first Chiappas and there are definitely some interesting design choices other than the obvious.

Out the gate the double action is a very nice and smooth 7lbs. Single action is right at 5lbs immediately at the wall and about 1mm of trigger movement to break.

The Aristocrat sights are amazing as per usual.

Will Update with a range report next week. Photos and video hopefully.

I really do like my Chiappa revolver; unique low bore axis design, light weight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame with good balance, feel pretty pleasant to shoot plus good accuracy!
Very happy that I can acquire this nice and unique revolver!
I mostly shoot 38 special.

Love mine, very fun to use. How are those hogue grips though? I've considered them. Hogue has always been a winner for me but those are expensive.

Hogue grip is purpose driven. Meant to be shot from the prone with the extra elevation. Its a nice grip on a Chiappa and also a S&W.

I got one a few months back in factory ODG (I'm a sucker for ODG, haha!!).

Haven't had it out yet, wondering what red dot I'll use. Super-nice balance in the hand, and the trigger (both DA/SA) is great.

Not my pic of course:
