Colombia just made a major pro-gun shift.
The new right wing President Abelardo De La Espriella has ended the nationwide suspension on civilian firearm carry permits, openly arguing that law-abiding citizens should not be left defenseless while criminals remain armed.
Colombians can legally buy firearms and ammunition for self-defense and obtain permits to carry them, and the government just removed the nationwide suspension that had been preventing normal carry permits from actually being used.
Amazing news! Now I have to see how that will work for me or if I’ll need to get residency through my wife
