    Verified accounts will keep their limit of 3. All other account limits stay the same.

    Existing ads are not affected and will remain up until they expire.

In yet another effort to try to prevent scams. I've moved the comment section higher so that you can see it right under the ad. Buyers can call dibs on it to let others know they got it. We've seen people go straight to messages and oversell items. Now you can call it out so ppl know its taken.

The classifieds section is also now limited to members only.

Just to reiterate, comments are now easier to see directly under the listing.

Thread crapping is still not allowed!

Doesn't the seller choose the buyer? I know I do. If I don't like someone's approach or tone, I'm going to sell to the next guy (or nobody). I don't think a seller should need to honor any 'dibs' system. Are we talking about the same thing?

They can just say it so 3 people don’t go after the same thing. Shouldn’t be necessary but it’s an option
 
Three buyers going after one gun is a good thing, no? As a seller, I will always choose my buyer, even if I lose money. It has to do with how I feel about the person, their approach, the respect shown, etc. I can't stand when people come at me sideways. I will always prefer an experienced vetted member over one with no transactions, though I'm always willing to give the no-transactions people a shot if I like them. I'm also gonna be tired of slow-responders right quick. Fast-responders are gold.

As a buyer, I'm ignoring all dibs. I'll talk to the seller directly. If they like me and my offer, we could strike up a deal. My availability might be better, along with my willingness to drive to them...twice! All is fair in love, war, and gun sales.

Lotta factors involved for both buyer and seller.

By the way, I love the change where classifieds are only for members now. Good move!
